Thursday Challenge : Books
Mississauga, Ontario (May 25 2005)
I've been remiss in my book-reading.
My target for the year, as I declared it in my 43 Things was to read one book a week. Just like New Year's resolutions, targets are meant to be left as targets.
For the 10 past weeks, my reading list include ONLY the following:
- The Tipping Point (Malcom Gladwell)
- How to Be A Canadian (Will and Ian Ferguson)
- Eats, Shoots and Leaves (Lynne Truss)
- and the Revenge of the Sith
I am 6 books short. Maybe I should just start reading the digest books from the picture instead of using them as great book shelf decors. : )
My target is to read any of the following in my tada-list for the rest of the year. Have you, by chance, read something good lately that you can recommend?
Talk about reading, have you read about Annalyn Jusay's most recent Blog-o-Rama article on Shai Coggins - On Taking Blogging to Another Level ?
Hindi pa? Well, lucky you, the Manila Bulletin article is available online. Go read. You'd learn a lot on blogging. Better yet, read Shai's columns on About.com. regularly, and learn from the Blog wizard from Oz.
Well, thank you Shai for the mention (go scroll down on her reply to "Any blogging figures you admire? Filipino websites you often visit?").
Ang haba ng segueway, mag pa-plug lang pala ako.
By the way, the title is a tribute to Bo Bice, the real American Idol - for me - Bo rocked the whole AI4 season, just lost out on the last day. sayang...
Did you know that the premier and the best American Idol 4 site is run by a Filipino? Here he liveblogs tonight's D-day. Plus he's got MP3s of the tracks and to the ladies out there a pic of Bo without his trademark goatee.
