 Shy????  It's you Turn Videoke Time (Brampton, Canada, August 2005) That's my man. Derek stole the words from my mouth. We've seen it in Europe, we've seen it in the Philippines. No Pinoy party is complete without that ubiquitous microphone and that bouncing ball on the screen! Our passion for music is equivalent to a religion of sorts. That's why any American Idol contestant with a tinge of Filipino blood will probably be assured of a Top 12 especially if you combine on-line voting (remember we won 2 straight Miss Photogenic awards in 1996 and 1997 because of this) and text or phone voting. (Good thing, the Idol Series only has the latter.) There'll come a time that the big spoon and fork (via Girlfactor) and the havaiianas (via laurganism.com) are not the only contribution of the Pinoy to the world. A Magic Sing or that DVD player-like videoke system will be the next best thing as a Pinoy Adobo. Watch out world! ****** And Derek and I share the same passion for music.
