"Ohh, can I touch your cute dog"
"Wow, what's her name? She's so beautiful"
"American Eskimo, c'mon now?"
"I have a Spitz too, they should see each other"
I was tasked to baby-sit last Friday afternoon. Of course I knew it wasnt a baby, it was my favorite pet dog in LA. The only thing was... I had errands to do : have something printed at Kinko's, pick up my laundry, and of course go back to office. In between that, we had a grand time accommodating an elderly woman who wanted to pet her head, a jogging lady who had to stop to ask her name, a grandpa who doesn't believe that she was an American Eskimo and a beautiful teenager in a tank top who wanted to take her home (hmmm, with me?).
I didn't realize that it not only happens in movies, but dogs can be chick-magnets too, and an annoying grandpa-magnet as well.
I ran this morning. Well, I jogged. Ok. ok. I used the treadmill.
I used to run the 50-meter dash (a pre-requisite Gym data in Grade School) at 7.7 secs. Today, I don't even think I could survive not fainting running 50 meters :)
I never realized Father Time can really be this harsh and I never really accepted the fact that the Big J, who played Pro Basketball in the Philippines up to 47 years old, is an anomaly, ok, he is NOT an anomaly, I love him. He is one of a kind.
Last night, I wanted to do an ala-So You Think You Can Dance routine and my bones cracked like New Year's Day fireworks.
We had a hearty laugh knowing that
This morning, I ran on the treadmill for 5 minutes, left it, realizing that running a chick-magnet dog around Marina del Rey is a better and a fascinating way to get an exercise.
Why the image of the cute kid to this blog entry?
The kid was literally running away from the waters, not knowing that the same body of water (well it was in Martha's Vineyard) was the scene for the film, "Jaws".
Jaws by the way was the nickname of the great NFL quarterback, Ron Jaworski.
Ron Jaworski maybe is related to Robert "The Big J" Jaworski.
The Big J is a grandpa (those tots are not his') or rather a chick magnet. whatever... :)
So there you go - the picture is related to the blog entry.
