 Loooong Weekend : July 1 Fireworks for Canada Toronto to Cape Cod It was just the 1st of July, which was the birthday of Canada, and the US was co-celebrating it with great fireworks along the creeks of Cape Cod. Not many best friends celebrate their birthdays within the same week. Mitzi and I do. :) ******** Video of the fireworks. Not as exciting as pictures, noh? ********  Click to view larger map So after 1,150 kilometers, we arrived at our final destination - Cape Cod. This is not the farthest drive that we've made. In 2001 we drove for 1,400 kilometers (one way) to Lourdes, France; 1,200 kilometers to Florence, Italy; and almost the same distance to Waterloo, Belgium in 2002. We've also made a road trip to Normandy which was over a 1,000 kilometers. Guess what our car, Trixy's, mileage is after 14 months? Don't ask. It's not also the longest cumulative, as we drove to Vigan, Ilocos Sur on a dare for close to 12 hours. That one was long because of the traffic ;p ******** Blogger swaps a paperclip leading to a house in exactly one year.
