For a meal that consisted of Baked Tahong (P 240), Liempo (P110), chicken pork adobo (P180) and Chopsuey (P100), plus drinks, we kind of forked out an amount equivalent to Manila prices. If you ask me if it was worth it, I'd say it should be, especially for the price. The owner, Louie Cruz and chef Sandro personally assisted in serving out the food. Service was excellent and the place was clean. The bathroom wash basin was clogged when I visited. It wasn't me. After the hearty meal, was a hearty dessert. We had a mental list of places to go to: True Coffee (done, yesterday merienda, you have to order their Kalamansi Cake), Aria (tomorrow, Sunday), Gasthof (rhymes with gastos), Cafe Briezh (hmmm), Jonah's Shakes (yes!!!!), off we went to Jonah's famous MILK shakes. Sad to say I had to succumb having a milk shake without the milk (lactose intolerant raw ako), so I had the most expensive Mango Shake in the island. McSandro's can be found at the rotunda of D'Mall Budget : P200 to P 250 per person Ambiance: very clean Food Quality: Excellent Food Quantity: Just enough to share with two Jonah's Milk Shakes Along the Long Beach, beside Cocomangas Budget: P 60- P 95 for their milkshakes, but they also serve meals Ambiance: Family-type, you can come here from the beachfront Milk Shake: to die for Mango Shake: the most expensive in the island, at P 60, I could've taken it from Manila Hotel just joking about the last line Seawind Massage Cost: P 250 (vs. P200 from other places) Worth It?: nope. It wasnt like this before. So stop the hype and get yours from Manila. Click Pic to Continue Day 3 |
