 American Falls up close  The Horseshoe Shaped Falls at the Canadian Side  Both Falls Seen from the Canadian Side  All Smiles Despite the Eminent Rain  Rain Rain Go Away  As the Rainclouds left, Only the smiles of the Two Pairs Are Seen After Seeing the Two Falls More Clearly Captured Moments in the US of A - Part 2 (May 20-25, 2006) Canada to US to Canada to US in 4 hours :) How's that possible? It was because we crossed the border to fetch Linnor and Jerry at Buffalo Airport (1.5 hours away from the apartment, which already included 15 minutes at the border to get an I94 Immigration Card) and then bring them back in to compare and see the beauty from both sides of one of the "forgotten" Natural Wonders of the World (the Grand Canyon IS in the Top 7), the Niagara Falls. It was also a perfect plan for us to have Jerry, who had only the weekend to spare, to cross the border and be in Canada at least for 2 hours and enjoy the "better view" of the Falls with Linnor (at the same time collect another visa in his passport) Despite the rains, we enjoyed our short stay and started our drive down to New York at 12:30 pm. (Insert New York New York MP3 here :) ******* At the end of this trip: Linnor and Jerry will have seen: One Natural Wonder of the World - Grand Canyon Three Wonders of the Natural World - Empire State Building, Golden Gate Bridge and the CN Tower (Toronto) One Forgotten Wonder of the Modern World - the Hoover Dam One Forgotten Wonder - the Statue of Liberty and One Forgotten Wonder of the Natural World - the Niagara Falls!
