Captured Moments in the US of A - Part 2
(May 20-25, 2006)

So we only have 1 complete day in New York City. Armed with a laundry list of places to go to, all we needed to accomplish this daunting task were a sturdy pair of shoes, a Metro Card and 2 couples who were born to enjoy a place on a shoestring budget.

So here goes : Taking Manhattan in 1 day: Morning Itinerary (see the Afternoon Schedule here)

900 am : Leave New Jersey, thanks to cousin Reno for the drive
945 am : Driving tour of SOHO
950 am : Go past Madison Square Garden (the Knicks are not in the NBA playoffs anyways)
1000 am : Walk to 5th Avenue, but be wary not to get mugged :) (use Manila instincts)
1030 am : Take a Picture of the Philippine Flag in front of the Embassy
1045 am : Visit the Rockefeller Center and have the customary shot in front
1100 am : Visit Trump Tower and see the golden tower of gawdiness
1200 pm : Mass at St Patrick's
100 pm : Walk back to 7th Avenue
110 pm : Buy Metro card for 12rides
115 pm : Subway to 72nd Street
