Toronto, in the Eyes of a Newbie Toronto (September 2004) and suddenly you are doing the impossible". - St. Francis of Assisi Armed with a day pass, our objective was to get a place we can call our own as well as to familiarize ourselves with the subways of Toronto. Fabled to be confusing, we were lucky not to have gotten lost as much as we did in the subways of Paris. Rode the Go-Train from Bramalea to Union, saw Air Canada and walked along Front. Rode the subway to Pape, the bus to Don Mills. Rode the subway to Yonge/Sheppard then to Lawrence. It wasn't the best time to be out (the temps went down below 20 degs) and as common Filipinos, our refuge would always have to be - the mall. The middle shot was Eaton Center, followed by a now peaceful Air Canada, 4 days after the frenzy of Toronto winning the World Cup! Great cap (err cup?) to a great week! << |
