 Our Sari Sari Store, 5 Minutes Away  Bird and Plane on the Same Post Along Rathburn Road (November 2004) Yup, normally I'd beat it by a few seconds. On the first "toot", the next sound you'd hear was a wild "slam" on the alarm clock's sad-sack head. My first day was exciting because I had to simulate coming to office, ride the bus, ride the subway train, another bus and arrive in the office. This is my preparation for Monday. As fate would've it, yesterday was supposed to be the day I sign my employment papers also became my first day at work. Started with the usual first day intro, introduced to my new workplace, started an Office account, given a proximity badge, a pen and a notebook to write all my ideas (which they intend to keep as part of my inventions during my stay). Promotions meeting was at 10 and I already got a grasp of what to do. Fast learner, I usually am. One of the things needed at the end of the session was to provide new promotional approaches to marketing the company's products and events. Guess what I recommended? To put up a corporate blog.
