7:30 PM - Waiting for the Bus Late Night Shower - steaming hot 12 Midnight - Last View from the Balcony Before Going to Bed Evening Routine (December 2004) What's good about evenings in a quiet suburban setting is that after a long travel from work, one can settle down, prop the legs on a footrest, relax, have a sumptuous dinner courtesy of the wife, say our "couple prayer" and chill out with the best music before slumping to bed. My choices (not in any particular order) for the best music for 2004: Best New Group/Artist for 2004: o Keane - "Hopes and Fears" o Franz Ferdinand - "Franz Ferdinand" o Scissor Sisters - "Scissor Sisters" o The Killers - "Hot Fuss" o Kanye West - "College Dropout" Best Comeback Album (3 Yrs or more without an album): o Duran Duran - "Astronaut" o Sarah McLachlan - "Afterglow" o U2 = "How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb" o Green Day - "American Idiot" o Prince - "Musicology" Best Album: o The Killers - "Hot Fuss" o The Cure - "The Cure" o Morissey - "You Are the Quarry" o Brian Wilson - "Smile" Best for Chilling Out: o Joss Stone - "Mind Body and Soul" o Norah Jones - "Feels Like Home" o George Benson - "Irreplaceable" o Alicia Keys - "The Diary of Alicia Keys" What's yours? << |
