Easy Share Mississauga (January 2005) Just tea for two and two for tea, Just me for you and you for me alone. Nobody near us to see us or hear us, No friends or relations on weekend vacations. We won't have it known, dear, That we own a telephone, dear" Irving Ceasar (Popularized by Frank Sinatra and Neil Diamond) For us, a shared meal doesn't just revolve around partaking in the food. It's the best time to share what we saw on TV, what we read from our own emails, spams included, phone calls from recruiters, if I slid on ice on the way home, and every little thing we encountered that's considered share-worthy. Meals, maybe are shortened, because both my wife and I were trained cafeteria-eaters snorting our food since Grade School, but the long talks, oh, they last til kingdom comes. We don't end up til 1 am. By then, it maybe one sided as my wife talks (sort of pleading) me out to not snoring so loud. : ) ****** Here's where we currently share our meals since the first week of the new year. Still a cozy nook and a li'l wee bit warmer than the "Japanese seating-style" meals we used to share during our first 3 months. Still, the conversations never stop, standing up, seated down or flat on the floor. << |
