Super Ball Mississauga I love my game fast, that's why I don't like baseball. Unlike soccer, I love a game where the scores are high and the crowd problem is low. Sorry, but I never really followed american football, because i want the players to have a natural adrenaline pumped in their veins and not with steroids to create those bulging muscles. Definitely no-no to hockey, because I want my game with less stick-hitting and if the players want to hit each other, they dont have to use mittens. Last Friday, the Toronto Raptors, after succumbing to a 28-point lead brought the enemy to its knees with a barrage of 3-point shots. At the end of the game, they won by 3 points. That's the type of game i want to see. Basketball! All-action through and through. No funny signals like baseball, no injury-faking like soccer, or big football men in tight lycra pants, nor penalty boxes to condone violent hockey players. But tonight, we tried watching the superbowl. It was great although half of the game was spent on understanding why there were a few tight ends, when in fact all of the players had tight ends. Plus at halftime, there were no wardrobe malfunction, it was wholesome Paul McCartney who sang a lot of Stars on 45 songs. His songs were great - well, they were great in the 60s. But whatever the game is, as long as there's pizza, it can be made bearable. << |
