It's Been That Long

Our Mississauga Address

Two seasons and seven months ago an airplane brought forth on this continent a new couple, conceived with innocence and naivete to be dedicated to the proposition that all men are created to be Canadians.

Now we are engaged in a great war albeit a better life, testing whether that dream or any dream so conceived and so dedicated can long endure. We were met on this great battlefield of that war for a better life - a lot of difficulties. We have come to dedicate a portion of our income for taxes as a final resting-place for the money we have earned and us who here gave up our lives back home that that our dreams for our families might live. We are sure, and is altogether fitting and proper that we should do this.

Although we enjoy living here, we continue to miss all of you back home...

Updates on our 7th month:

o We just filed our first income tax return. Not much, but it was sort of rites of passage.
o We are halfway our apartment lease contract and might be moving closer to Mitzi's work.
o We plan to lease a car and are looking at small-sized yet rugged economy cars.
o Health is good, hopefully better for me.
o Making new friends and keeping old ones.
o Life has been good, we can't ask for more. Thank you for all your prayers!
