Doing It With Love

I couldn't imagine working on something and not passionately giving my utmost best, my 110%, my biggest barbaric yawp. I couldn't imagine not being where the action is. I remember before that I would rise up to the occasion and be up to the task for any challenge that came my way. It'd be combination of my intensity to be the best at what I do, the competitive drive in me, and my gung-ho attitude of being "all out" in any endeavor.

Sometimes though, our best is never enough. We lose a step or two. Our memories fail us and reality sips in our brains telling us that there will come a day that our best is just good for others. From starting five to the bench we go. From main attraction to curtain raiser, and from cream of the crop to merely a "kamote", a mere root crop.

Reality check tells me that soon that day will come.
