 J and J El Segundo, California (May 2005) Eversince I started a home-office set up, I haven't had the opportunity to really work this much time with warm bodies. The last two weeks were like a re-discovery period for myself as I regained the joy and the dynamics of working with people around me. I literally told myself, "I miss this!". I loved travelling to work, the smell of coffee in a board room, doing elevator talks, sharing conversations with real people, and just being around them even in silent work, coordinating, collaborating, giving high fives for a job well done, providing wisdom taken from 15 years of work experience, wheelin' and dealing, and, ending the day poofed out. This was like my life for more than a decade and I enjoyed it then, and found out I enjoy it still. But I guess God placed me where I can enjoy both worlds. Every now and then, I'll be in this environment of working around an established workplace, and yes, enjoying rolling from bed to work too. I can't ask for a better deal. For sure. ******** She was the baby of the family, now she has her own, to my baby sis, May, a Happy Birthday, and ow, you're now part of the great company of great moms.
