 Sunset at 8:30PM Mississauga, Ontario (May 2005) Its hard to give up something. Especially if that something has been with you for years. I just recently cancelled a 9-year old cellphone number from a local carrier as part of my Spring Cleaning. In fact in the last few weeks I've been thinking of other things I'd like to give up. Shoes? nah, i just have enough pairs. Shirt? nope. Pants? nope. Jacket? nope. CD's? Yes! (sent U2 CD/DVD back home for my bro-in-law) DVD's? Yes! (sent unopened "Ray" and unopened "Troy" for my other bro-in law). Books? Yes! sent my new "Revenge of the Sith" paperback to someone in the office who's part of the original company and is a rabid Star Wars fan. Sometimes, our attachments to material things are the cause for our own downfall. Either we keep too much of things we dont need, or we just keep on amassing them leading to total clutter. Given the chance I'd always love to see the smiles of people who receive and also my own, whenever I give. Pass it forward... will you? ******* They gave up their good paying jobs and probably assigned someone to take care of their business. Bill Rancic and Kelly Perdew, winners of "the Apprentice's" first 2 seasons are hardly the Presidents of companies as promised by Trump. What will happen to Tana or Kendra, when they get hired? They're not as good as Kelly or as charismatic as Bill, so maybe we can't expect so much. This is the problem with Reality TV, it only looks good on TV. ****** We should not give up the tag as the Text Message Capital of the World. But I was wondering why a Filipino wasn't the one who made it to the Guineess Book of Records for most number of Text messages.. ******* Now you can google movie schedules and search movie times within your locality. Here's a sample within a short drive from our LA place of work. This will come in handy this week for the US, as the last installment of the Star Wars opens on the 19th.
