Mona Lisa Smile from Margay Panning Shot of Funny Rappy Yanna, dalaga na! Weekend With the Kids (Paranaque, July 2005) Wowow...is the favorite expression by our 2.5-year old niece, Marga. She received her 2 blouses given by her Tita Mitzi and readily tried them on, modeled it and used it like water to a fish. She even cried when it was tried to be taken off and asked to change back to her old house shirt and underwear. The precocious kid was the same sweet, independent lady like girl we used to know. Yanna, who probably spent extra time in the pool in the last couple of weeks, is now 6 years. But she continuous to be mature mentally as she would continue to wait on you and not force herself to get your attention. Rappy has grown an extra inch but still was and probably will be a big hugger and a boy with endless energy. Proud to be now in Grade 2, he not only is an active school boy, he was also a playground rat, as he rode the bike as if he could beat Lance Armstrong, transferred to the scooter, went back to the bike, played inside the house and just practically did things continuously as if he was in an Iron Man triathlon event. Raissa continues to surprise us with her 1,001 talents. She even sampled a song without much prodding, and was the cook of the night. She prepared the pasta with pesto sauce which tasted authentic, and the yummy dessert. The film, "Fantastic Four" is still showing in the movie theatres in Manila, but looking at the 4 kids, I was like thinking that, "hey, these are the fantastic four," they all had their idiosyncracies which make them unique and their talents that were just peering in the last couple of years, have now apparently blossomed and are now turning to expertise, which make it doubly fantastic. If only their Tita Mitzi were here, both of us will be in consonance in saying, "wowowow" to all our nephew's and nieces' range full of varying talents. Trust their parents to continue to hone and nurture these talents that the next time we'll see them, they'd either be in showbiz, or representing their schools in sports, music or for Marga, probably modelling unwashed clothes straight from a shop. :) << |
