Mississauga Skyline (First Shots) In between work and preparing the apartment for pa's and ma's arrival, I have 424 other things to do. Not really 424, somewhere between 15 to 22 in reality. The rest of the 400 things are nice to do, urgent, but not important (insert here concepts from Stephen Covey's 7 Habits). I have a deadline to beat. But its a torment to see my 10D which I havent used in more than a day. I have 4 DVDs bought for just $30. I'm in the middle of Nick Hornby's A Long Way Down, not as fascinating as his first few masterpieces. All 3 are not that important right now. I'm trying to pack the sheets and the mattress cover ready for laundry later. I have a list to buy from the Dollar Store, motor oils to be bought from Canadian Tire, a budget to close for August and change the computation of new gas budget with the prices changing like a crazy. My seat's cushion has lost its comfort feel, the keyboards are oily from lunching in front of the computer. Good thing I didnt forget to pay September rent or paid August bills and transferred money to Paranaque for the maintenance of the house. I just cooked lunch, or rather reheated last night's dinner. We need to finish the menu plan for the rest of the month. I love the rush. I love the urgency of things. (ok, want to hear an old pun? an old play with words that we love being RUSHians and being URGENTinians? - but really, we Filipinos, just love beating the deadline.) There's so much to do, but so little time to do them. For me, the best time, is the last minute. :) << |
