Inspired by Toni's own table and Batjay's blog entry title, I took a snap of my desk table. Although not everything there makes me happy, everything there is essential for me to be happy.

Memento Around the World Update

Was supposed to post the first batch of Memento Around the World pics, (yes, we now have 2 cams back in Canada) and to my horror, the CD that held all the scanned negatives cracked in the middle of the CD reading process. You can hear the loud crack and I just prayed that nothing in the reader was affected. Never mind the CD, I have the negatives, I can have them rescanned.

Glad to know that the CD reader isn't mangled. I'll have the negative re-scanned within the week.

The first MATW cam that arrived moved from east to west to the northeast US, landing in Canada and going back to the US 2 more times. Just imagine how many Immigration xray machines it went through? More than that, just imagine the joy I see looking at the pics and seeing your world through those pics. Ganda!

So if you have the cameras with you today, pass it on (thanks Batjay for passing the Texas cam to the Garden State) or if you're nearing 27 exposures, pass it back to Canada. Leave me a note too if you think you need more time. Remember, there's no deadline to this. We're only raring to see what you've wanted to share plus am also itching to post the pics and sharing my joy seeing them to others.

For me, it's also travelling in a different way. Thanks to those who participated. The mementos will soon be posted here.
