Asparagus...Robin's Egg Blue...Mango Tango...Laser Lemon...Macaroni and Cheese?

No, these are not part of any recipe. They're all part of the Crayola Crayons which was a big part of my childhood life.

It's been years since I got a box, and I haven't had time to see that my usual Crayon colors like Indian Red, or the combination of two colors like Green Blue, Orange Red, Orange Yellow are gone and are now, Cerulean (ceru what?), Vivid Tangerine, and Jungle Green respectively.

Someone stole my youth.

My motto in life is to leave a place in a better state than when it was when I got in. I don't think President Bush subscribes to this. He entered his term with the US in black and plans to leave it with a $ 337 billion deficit. Color it Red, that's the real State of the Nation.

What I like about Canada is the fact that we are not called a melting pot. I like it being called a tapestry or a mosaic, that we all have retained our original colors and look and didn't dive in to be changed into a color or race that we can never be.
