I never realized people know that March 12 is a special day to me as as to other famous celebrities like Liza Minelli, Al Jarreau and James Taylor (all great talents, whom I share the same birthdays - but not the same warbling talent)

In Stephen King's Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption, the character Andy Dufresne escapes from Shawshank Prison on March 12, 1975. Shawshank Redemption, with Memento, and the Usual Suspects are up there among my favorite movies. :)

My birthday was made more special as God gave us a great sunny weekend. It was weird to come from a colder Los Angeles (it even snowed!) than supposed-to-be-winter Toronto. I think that's one way Mother Nature conspired to make the day more special.

Male life expectancy is at 74. I'm there, as we Bisayans would say - "right smack in the middol."
