Diversity of Chinese food has been the same through the years. They weren't always the animal foods we see hanging from Chinese restos' glass windows. A study shows 88% of Chinese food is made of rice and legumes. Animal foods dont play much in the Chinese diet, since it is beyond the reach of many. I guess we in the outside world are lucky to have known most of the Chinese foods that are yummy in a non-MSG kind of way.

After mass, I was asked what I wanted to have for a light dinner. Guess what my ready answer was, as if my tummy worms were shouting through my esophagus - "d...i...m..s...u...m". Yes, we had to go to 3 Asian stores around Mississauga to get me my fill. :)

To think we also had Chinese fast food the day before. Ahhh! got to stop this. MSG is addicting. MSG is addicting.
