Mini Tilt-Shift Fakes First Try

I jumped on the bandwagon. I tried (in vain) the "fake" tilt-shift look for pictures. The objective was to make them look like fake models we see when looking for apartment or building plans.

The results of 1-hour tilt-shift faking are shown above? Like 'em?

Top 5 Stories from Last Week that made Easter Really Happy

5 - Lakers enter the NBA playoffs again! Woohoo. Who would think a team that was the youngest in the NBA with half of the members playing for different teams last year would be no. 7 in the tough Western Conference? I did.

4 - Long Distance Calls to the Philippines - it was great to hear our parents' voices live and loud. We miss them so much!

3 - Meaningful Lenten preparation. It almost approximated the preparations our family do back in the Philippines (Stations of the Cross, Sacrament of Reconciliation and Easter Mass). I just miss doing visita iglesia. (Here are Linnor's and May's account of their families church visits). They did it well by doing it via pictures!

2 - Finding the place we were looking for (sorry U2 for the pun). A condo/townhouse that is central to everything: our favorite supermarket, Longo's, two parks, a protected woods, a library and Community Center complete with modern facilities, and our non-negotiable 2-minute drive Catholic Church. We were like dogs circling the place and peeing around it.

Pray for us to get approved when we make the offer.
