How good a listener are you? I've discovered in countless Sales seminars that this is the pitfall of a lot of salesmen. They already got the nod of the client, but never realized it - maybe did not hear it - because of their endless rapping. ******* There's a difference between being quiet and listening. My father does both instinctively. When we were younger you'd mistake his quiet ways as disinterest. Eventually, you'd know that he was always waiting for the perfect time for him to speak his mind. I guess his way of inspiring us to do things in his quiet way, was as important as having it said in a thousand words. Now I realize, more than ever that both ways were successful. I'd surely practice the same when I get to become a father like him. :) ******* Hey, how was Father's Day? Hope it was great! ******* Listen while viewing a Father's Day slideshow of the best fathers in the world (in my hard drive, at least :) ******* I listened to the pros! I improved the picture from this pic to this by heeding their comments. No one is so good that you can't improve from the masters! It pays to listen indeed! << |
