Abigail's Bed and Breakfast 1775 Windows of Martha's Vineyard Going Around Martha's Vineyard Loooong Weekend : An Exquisite Night Prior to a Perfect Day in Martha's Vineyard Toronto to Cape Cod It's been a total of 10 hours on the road, but the warmth and hospitality of our hosts at Abigail's B&B 1775 sapped the tiredness and made the drive seemed a "short and interesting" one. From the clear directions from Harvard, to a great late night conversation over a bottle of shiraz to cap the night, a well appointed bedroom with complete amenities akin to a castle room, and yes - a heavenly breakfast specially prepared for us. What else can you ask for? - but maybe ask - "Can we live now so that we dont get carried away and stay here for the weekend instead of embarking to our actual trip to Martha's Vineyard?" ********** The notorious Sagamore Bridge connecting Cape Cod to the rest of Massachusetts, owing to the construction of its rotary was showing a little bit of back-up traffic. Despite the heavenly breakfast we had we were on the bridge by 930am and was on the port of Falmouth by 1015am, just in time for our 1030 boat to Martha's Vineyard. We've probably perfected coming on the right time despite being misguided, rerouted and other mishaps that wouldn't deter us from enjoying our weekend. ********* Finally....where frayed nerves and tired bodies come to relax, where people who want to be far from civilization and nearer to nature, where one can be catatonic yet work out a sweat- we've finally arrived at Martha's Vineyard.
