Continuing our tourist mode, we ventured into the most frequented waterfalls shared by both the United States and Canada. Niagara Falls whose grandeur was just a childhood icon for water dripping over bedroom walls during heavy Manila torrential rains. ”Uy, yung tubig sa dingding parang Niagara Falls”.

The trip via Coach Canada was a mere 2 hours from Dundas and was a great way to see other cities outside of Mississauga. Upon arrival, my little kid cap was put on and everything was like a childhood dream coming to life. Here in front of me was Niagara Falls, and there were 2 of them (the other being American Falls). We didn’t think twice in going through the Maid of the Mist, that dreamboat that takes blue-poncho clad riders from Canada side (Yellow from the US) near the falls’ raging waters. Well just enough for us Filipinos to feel another signal no.3 type of a typhoon.

Another fascinating thing was that a footbridge can actually take anyone from Canada to the US border and visit another country and back in minutes.

Of course, we weren’t allowed to go through the border…or else, we wouldn’t be allowed to get in Canada again…

Viajero was also very near the raging waters of the Niagara. This is probably the closest cam shot to take without damaging the camera lenses.
