Have I told you about why we're here in Toronto? Have I mentioned that we dropped our application way back September 8, 2000, Mama Mary's birthday, 4 years ago? and despite our lack of interest in moving here, just like trying to lose an unwanted stray cat, the application held on and we ended up getting approved? Maybe I also forgot to mention that we got our visas last January 7, 2004 (our wedding anniversary) and we were given 9 months to prepare, like any normal pregnancy? And lastly I may have not mentioned it, but with the length of preparation, my wife was able to finish a global project last August 2004, that we were able to finish a lot of things in Manila and was able to leave for Toronto last September 11 with closures on both our employments, our loans, prepared and ready for the new chapter in our life.

Well, its just been one month - the blessings have not stopped. Its like a stampede. Today, we got our Social Insurance Number (SIN) and Permanent Resident (PR) Cards. The latter, 2 months ahead of its regular release.

I'm convinced that this trip is no ordinary trip for my wife and me.
