Racecar Mississauga,Canada (April 2005) Racecar ... that's a palindrome.* Racecar a Toyota Racecar ... that's a palindrome* too. G' Its A Racecar! A Toyota Racecar! Astig! .... that's not just a palindrome*! its our new car too! woohoo! * - a word, a phrase, a sentence that reads the same when read forward or backwards. ****** In 1993, I bought my very first car. It was a Toyota. Vangie would know that car. Back then, I had to pay through my nose for 2 years, sometimes asking for another day or two before my check can be funded and deposited. Just after completing 24 monthly payments, I had to resell that car to pay for the church, my barong tagalog and defray other wedding expenses. My last car, (well, technically) was a Toyota, which I borrowed from Paparazzi just days prior to leaving for Canada. That one was wrecked a few hours after a despedida party tendered for me. God blessed me to have exchanged vehicles with the company driver just 2 hours prior to the accident. We could have missed our appointment with destiny had I drove that car and met that mishap. So when we tried to decide on our first car here in Canada, after looking at several cars, the decision was quite easy, but the credit approval was not (which is worthy of another blog entry). To cut to the chase (no pun intended), I'm going to drive a Toyota again. We just got approved to lease a vehicle for the next 4 years. We're getting a 2005 Toyota Matrix. To those who dropped their donations to my dropcash - libre ang sakay niyo in case nasa Toronto kayo. Sure yan. ***** 2 entries for today. Here's the one you missed. << |
