Green Clock Union Station, Toronto (May 2005) I'm typing this just as I'm watching the Season Finale of CSI: Las Vegas. Its coincidental that I had a clock image for this entry as I was actually typing about an entry regarding Canadian time and how they've proven to me to be so prompt. This 2-hour finale is turning out to be a humdinger with Quentin Tarantino directing. Talk about saving the best for last. I'm not sure how its going to end but what I know is that I need to watch or else I'll end up gnashing my teeth not able to see an old favorite and.... wait, its 9pm, its the season finale of the Apprentice too. What's all the hype about season finales? we're not even feeling summer nor experienced spring at all! ******* Back to CSI, Nick Stokes is in trouble. He is the center of attraction of this last episode. He's being buried alive, ala Kill Bill? Will they be able to save him in the nick of time? Or is it the time of Nick? Back to Apprentice, has Bill Rancic gotten too much air trying to put up that high storey building in Chicago for Trump that upon being welcomed by Donald, he, in the same breath chastises Tana for not being an inspiring leader. Back to CSI, Nick is struggling and everyone is hoping he makes it. Everyone is making their best contribution ever, just to save Nick. Back to Apprentice, Donald is explaining the next task to the next Apprentice, who will it be, Mr. Trump? Back to CSI, they found Nick! But the ants got to him first. Back to Apprentice, Tana is being grilled for the her statements against her teammates in the last task, while Kendra's teammates are brown nosing and propping her direct to a win. Let's see. Back to CSI, now this is a Quentin Tarantino scene in Black and White. Then in gory color complete with blood, heart and intestines. Go Quentin! Back to Apprentice, George placed it perfectly. It's a toss up. Hard to choose. Now, Donald is trying to make his annual divisive tactic of asking whether education is a big obstacle to being successful. Kendra just admitted that Tana designed the winning Pontiac brochure. Tana is weirdly pointing her finger and shouting her wits out saying "don't get me started". That might be the turning point of the whole Season. Back to CSI, they got Nick! and what a smashing ending it is.....all the scenes were shot from a genius eye. Tarantinong Tarantino. Back to Apprentice, decision time ....here goes....Trump is building up the case - he hires Kendra! Kendra Todd, from New york wins The Apprentice 3. Who cares if it is the opening night of Star Wars III, Revenge of the Sith. We love Thursday TV! ******* It's Time for Friday Links: It's time to personalize your Google homepage (via Slashdot) It's Miller time (- to go?!) After 18 years, Goodbye Reggie. Im writing this prior to Game 6 of the defending champs Detroit Pistons and Indiana Pacers. This could be the last game of Reggie Miller. Not if Reggie can help it. Watch out Pistons! (via blog.flickr.com) It's not yet time for Canadian PM Paul Martin to go, as he won a no-confidence vote by the slimmest of margins, 153-152, on a vote by the Speaker. << |
