 It was the official start of Fall at Summer Temperatures  Good thing, Mama and Papa were able to experience Fall in Canada  The weather was perfect for a picnic at Niagara on the Lake and....  ..an afternoon visit to one of the wonders of the natural world - Niagara Falls  Where everyone was enjoying the cool breeze and the perfect day for Mamarazzi's Birthday, including the seagull at the back Look around this town And tell me that it ain't so They're saving the best for last Don't ask me how I know 'Cause it must be Saving the best for last for me ."- Marc Cohn It was also Mama's birthday when they visited us in Europe 3 years ago. It was made more special as it was their last week and we heard mass at St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican City. In the recent New York sortie, we had the Statue of Liberty trip planned on the first day but lines would've been bad on a weekend so we moved it to first thing Monday morning. It was perfect timing as we had Mama's NJ-based first cousin join us the whole day. Today, as we saved the Niagara Falls trip on their last touristic day, Mitzi spent her last vacation leave and spent time apple picking, doing a picnic at Niagara on the Lake and driving to one of the greatest natural wonders in the whole world. It was a great sight to behold. Both the majestic falls and Mama's smile as she enjoyed the views immensely. **** More of a Day at Niagara here. **** Speaking of apple picking, picnics and food, have you visited the new issue of Pinoy Expat - aptly called "Kain Na"?
