Amazing Pace

October started with some rest days from the frenetic pace of jampacked September. Last month was truly memorable and we enjoyed the month immensely with Mama and Papa around. Now, in the middle of the day as I sit here listlessly in my home office, I try to rekindle moments from last month through Memento. Somedays when I step out of the room, I'd hope that I'd see Mama poring over her scrapbook and Papa reading the paper or his volunteered share of washing the dishes :) But all I see is an empty living room. :(

Came back from LA with a stash of DVDs : The Amazing Race Season 1 and LOST. The latter, despite 23 million viewers, will be our first time to see an entire episode, let alone the whole season! woohoo. That will not come soon though as we are stuck with AR1 almost every night!

Amazing Race Season 1 DVD is a keeper. It throws us back to some memorable places such as Central Park (NYC), the Colosseum (Rome), Les Baux (Provence, France) Eiffel Tower (Paris, France), even stop overs in Ferrara and Marseilles.

Thank God for AR1 DVD, since the current Family Edition on TV doesn't cut it. We're already bored and its just the 2nd episode. I hope Season 2 DVD comes out before December 20 when AR 9 starts!

There'll be no TV tonight. We're watching Billy Crystal's 700 Sundays.
