 Green and Yellow  Green to Yellow to Red  Red Autumn Leaves October 7, 2005 From now, til maybe April, the operative word IS layering. Finally, the temps are consistently below 20 degrees. One by one, the trees fronting our apartment have changed colors, resembling traffic lights, from Green to Yellow to Red. The breeze is a lot cooler even during mid day. You'd think the whole place, not just the apartment is under A/C. Soon the trees would be bare. Soon the bare would have clothes on. Summer has finally said its swansong.
