A Walk in the Woods Click left side of photo to go to previous entry/ Click the right half of photo to go to the next
Around Forest Park Mississauga, October 21, 2005 It never occured to us that we were walking for more than 30 minutes. But the spectacle of the changing colors of the leaves, the curious peeping of the sunrays and the rustling sound of fallen dried leaves were enough to distract us from what could be like a couple of kilometers of walking. Around the Forest Park apartment complex are 6 different parks and a forest (thus the name of the apartment), or so it seemed to me. If one so decides to choose an off-beaten path there's one trail to take from a quaint park with fruit bearing trees, a wide baseball diamond, and take you right in the middle of this dense treed area and out of the city again. What a welcome weekending walk from all the work we've been doing, and we're not even halfway of our walk in the woods, and we thought we've seen the best already :) << |
