The Walk Continues Mississauga, October 21, 2005 The sun was setting as we passed the trees out of the forest to a lush green golf course. That explains this blog entry's title. The walk, which started here, was almost done. I look back and see that it was a great way to do some reflection as a couple. What could be a better venue than when no one hears you except your life partner and some migrating birds flying away from the cold season. ****** I guess tonight, someone would've won the biggest lottery in Canadian history - $ 40 million. I could've bet on 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42. Doing that, I probably joined the thousands who lost. (pun intended). If you know your Wednesday night TV, you'd know those numbers :) (I'm a newbie to the show, but can someone fill me in what Claire is doing to Hurley in this pic :) ****** Designed by Cynthia, Banner by Kala Swiped unabashedly from AnP I practically felt like a Lotto winner having seen the First Year Anniversary issue of PinoyExpats out today. To have achieved so much in a short span of time is truly a stroke of genius. Bow AnP! Next, bow everyone in the editorial family. (I'm taking all your pics as you bow) Just for the record, PINOYexpats.org (got that right) - was the only E-zine nominated in the current Philippine Web Awards. As such, it practically ran away with the award, but apparently, due to lack of nominees, the category, one of the more prominent ones in previous years, had to be scrapped. Oh well, in our hearts, and to all those who read - it is. Go go go...read read read! << |
