  Weekend at Montreal Montreal,Canada March 17-19, 2006 We’re flying high Watching the world pass us by." -Depeche Mode I felt the need for speed.. Nah, I wasn't being Tom Cruise in Top Gun, but it maybe is true that running at breakneck speed is exhilirating and to some people addicting. We made the drive from Toronto to Montreal (via 401 and Highway 20) in 5 hours, considering that we were caught in the Friday rush hour snarl outside the corridors of Toronto to Pickering. With only a pit stop for gasoline and coffee, we were in Montreal, welcomed by a big full moon. Weekend was spent with family friends and a joint celebration with 5 of us celebrating our birthdays within the week. (we were looking for someone celebrating 13 and 14 to complete the weeklong celebration:) Even the weekend turned out so fast and we saw ourselves driving back at 3:30 PM Sunday, just in time for 9PM Sunday mass at St. Michael's. As they say, "time flies fast when you're having fun", well, the weekend was just like that. ******** Going on a roadtrip? One tip : travel light.
