Plane Preparing for Landing at Day's End Fiery Skies When the day's work is over, it's over. Not. I realized this with my current consulting home office business. The situation stems from the fact that I dont have a specific time zone to follow. When I wake up in the morning, its already 9pm in the Philippines, and 6am in LA. So I start my day and work until 5pm. But then meetings in LA start and end til 7pm. While some Philippine meetings start at 9pm. The good part is I have no one to breathe down behind my neck for any work I churn out. Oh well. You can't have your cake and eat it too. At least I have 2 lunch breaks within the day :) ********** So we survived the once in a century supposedly ominous numbered day, that is 6-6-6. Mark made a good musing and account he entitled "The Oh Men". ********** The Apprentice ends. Without much of a bang. If you saw the finale, you'd be amused to find out that the winner, the Brit Sean, just left the theatre and drove into the LA freeway, leaving everyone in the Orpheum theatre thinking where he went. That was weird. *********** And I think I asked this before. Why would Donald Trump be firing candidates who are undergoing an interview process? I now miss Martha Stewart and her line - "You just can't work for me...sorry" - and then in her meek and mild manner starts scribbling a letter to you. How non-confrontational. << |
