Loooong Weekend : In and Around Provincetown
Toronto to Cape Cod

"Dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go; be what you want to be, because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do."

From Boston, driving to Provincetown is another 120 miles or 2.5 hours. On a bad summer day, the drive can be longer. There are ferry boats that leave Boston Harbor to bring you to this great town or you can go on a 20-minute flight via Cape Air.

But when you are in Provincetown, there's no need for the car. There are ample parking at the back of the Pilgrim's Monument for $ 11, the whole day or $5 for street parking. Dont forget to bring up your car shades if you intend to go back in the middle of the day to sample other places (e.g. sand dunes, the various light houses around Cape Cod etc.) or if you decide to go back to your hotel. The latter one definitely is not at all recommended.

There's so much to do and see around Provincetown itself. A day to see the art galleries, be around street artists, or people watch along Commercial Street, may eat your whole day. Here's a live cam of what's happening there now :)

People in Canada average 12 days in traffic. According to the Statistics Canada study released this week, Torontonians have the highest average commute at 79 minutes with 25% of them travel close to 90 minutes a day.

86% of Canadian Commuters use a car for all or part of the trip.

20% of Canadian Workers use a bus or subway.

11% of Canadian Workers commute on foot or by bicycle

Good for me, you know I'm going to gloat about it again.

I travel a minute to my home office.

Rather, I roll over to work :)
