How hard is it to say "thank you"?

When someone holds the door when you have both hands holding 3 grocery bags in each hand? When the car beside you gives his lane so that you can immediately turn right on a highway, knowing the next exit is at least a kilometer away? When new friends invite you for a Thanksgiving dinner with a pumpkin pie especially made for you, after knowing that you've never tasted any.

It's easy to say thank you.

But how many times have we said thank you to the biggest Giver of them all?

Has Kobe meant he is a notch higher than Michael Jordan when he wears his new number 24 (to Michael's 23) in the forthcoming NBA season? Or is he saying that he is 3x better (8, being his old number x 3) this year than ever before? Whatever it is, the Lakers needs to let go of Jim Jackson, who was wearing that number until the team's seamstress changed 8 to 24.

By the way, as of today, Jim Jackson and Kobe are both listed under #24 in the Lakers roster. Weird.

Temps are getting lower. The operative word when the temps change from 24 to 8 degrees in 12 hrs is layering.
