Seemingly Cardboard Structures of Downtown Toronto Littered with Cars and Parking Lots It's always great to have some peace and quiet in the suburbs Going Downtown Mississauga to Toronto, Ontario In this suburban hell And in the distance a police car To break the suburban spell Lets take a ride, and run with the dogs tonight In suburbia You cant hide, run with the dogs tonight In suburbia ~"Suburbia" - Pet Shop Boys Two years didnt make any difference. I still feel the same going to Downtown and back to the suburbs. And what a coincidence, it was also Thanksgiving Weekend the first time I wrote that. So Happy (Canadian) Thanksgiving day to everyone. I'll be preparing for a long trip to downtown Toronto. ****** Last Song Syndrome: Unwritten by Natasha Beddingfield Staring at the blank page before you Open up the dirty window Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find Reaching for something in the distance So close you can almost taste it Release your inhibitions Feel the rain on your skin No one else can feel it for you Only you can let it in No one else, no one else Can speak the words on your lips Drench yourself in words unspoken Live your life with arms wide open Today is where your book begins I like the fading ending saying "...the rest is still unwritten" because it is. Have a Happy Weekend! Enjoy the weather whatever it is, there's a purpose for that happening. << |
