Imperfection

Making mistakes is the best part of learning. This is the easiest to comprehend but hardest to accept truth in life. Babe Ruth is among the baseball players with the most number of homeruns but he also holds the record for the most strikeouts. Thomas Alva Edison made costly mistakes during his experimentation, but he did get to make that one invention that allows us to see in the dark. Although he only is successful 49% of his shot attempts, Michael Jordan takes upon himself to always ask for the last shot in a do-or-die situation. In his career he made 25 buzzer beaters to win games for the Bulls and Wizards, the most for anybody.

"All men make mistakes, but only wise men learn from their mistakes", says Winston Churchill. This week, just like any other, I made mistakes. But I only hope and pray not to make the same mistakes, but also to do something about them.
