 Surf's Up!  On the other side of this ocean is HOME?  The Manhattan Beach pier - a landmark since 1920s  The LA version of skiing ? :) LA in 22 hours Manhattan Beach Sun, sun, sun, here it comes Sun, sun, sun, here it comes Sun, sun, sun, here it comes Sun, sun, sun, here it comes "- Beatles Ok, so we were really pushing our luck. We didn't feel warmth in Texas, so we flew to Los Angeles. Just kidding, as it wasn't really the sole reason. We flew to attend a company holiday party. But since our plane flew in late, we just managed to make our 22-hours productively aka walk along the beach (which is the Pacific Ocean really), having brunch at our favorite Manhattan Beach hangout and dinner with our favorite LA-friends. We even did a sand dune exercise to burn all the good food from Dallas which with shopping and malling didn't really burn fast enough. The exercise was fun. Here's a sample video - skiing on foot in LA: (Don't mind the extra image below the Blogger video...they should check on their codes by the way....) - bonus: you will hear me panting like a tired dog After 22-hours, we bundled up and prepared for the great snowstorm in Toronto. At least we were able to hit a lot of stones with this trip and gathered enough sun - I hope. Finally, we're flying home. << Bookmark this post on:
