Online Exhibit Kelso Conservatory, Milton, Ontario Upon a day apart, To praise the Lord with feast and song In thankfulness of heart."~Arthur Guiterman, The First Thanksgiving So it has come to pass that Thanksgiving Week is almost over. Of course, our gratitude is everyday, this week has been a quiet and reflective one. Bear with me as I wrote down my reflections on some things/ people and events I'd like to thank the Man-God for giving me: Thank you Lord - for the weather (Thanksgiving Day was 33 degrees, much like Summer in October), the beauty of nature that is 30 minutes away from our house, for waking up with a healthy heart and legs to hike, for having my wife as a hike partner, for the talent to capture beauty around me, for the material possessions like our car, the camera, our clothes, food and water to sustain us, for friends and relatives who continue to pray for us. For the time spent here on Earth to glorify You. Thank you. ******** Today I'm trying to use and revive an old website, my Viajero website. Head on there and view images of our hike last Thanksgiving Day. The website was called Salika, from the Tagalog words, "Kasali" and "Ikaw" - that means that you travel with me, vicariously through the images. In case you've been to the place, you can add a comment or two about your experience, kasali ka dito! There are 12 new entries which I can liken to a virtual/online Photo Exhibit of sorts. Just click the right portion of the picture to move to the next. After the 12 images which I carefully handpicked, you can also travel with me from the past with the drop down menu. Thank you Lord for the Gift of Travel. Enjoy the pics. ******** Of Travels and Trips Speaking of travel - I'll be out of the country over the weekend. I'll be meeting the Red Sox and the Celtics :) Both have ballgames on Saturday. In reality, I'll be speaking in front (nope, you wont see me do this a year or so ago) of Youth from Boston U, MIT, UMass and Harvard about GK Youth Build. Please pray for our safe travel and that I don't trip going up the stage. ****** Thank you for coming back after going to Viajero. So what pic did you enjoy most? << |
