1. What's the last place you traveled to, outside your own home state/country? The last leg of our 24-month "travel-blessing" to Europe took us to the Greek Islands. The number 13 may have proven to be very lucky after all. It was my 13th country visited in the last 2 years and we enjoyed every minute of it.
2. What's the most bizarre/unusual thing that's ever happened to you while traveling? It’d be unusual and maybe bizarre if everything happens according to plan. If it wasn’t a left airline ticket in the apartment, it’d be running on empty in the middle of nowhere. Experiencing the unusual adds spice to any of the traveling we did.
3. If you could take off to anywhere, money and time being no object, where would you go? I'd go back to all the places we visited and relive the memories. To make a very shortlist and considering weather, food and the people, it’d be a toss up between Provence, where we stayed for 1 week and Tuscany, our heaven for 5 days.
4. Do you prefer traveling by plane, train or car? As long as it gets us to where we want to go, it shouldn’t matter. But if forced to choose, it’d be by car because with it, we would be in control and we would scourge every back road, every alley of every place until we run out of gas. O how we love going through the roads less traveled. My wife and I live for “off-the-beaten-paths”!
5. What's the next place on your list to visit? It has got to be the john. I thought Friday five’s were easy to answer. This Friday five is making me have withdrawal symptoms for traveling. Bye.
