Free Parking with this Nouveau Disc Theme Thursday: Free
 Free Parking The New Parking Disc starting 2003, Lausanne, Switzerland, January 2003 This replaces the old and impractical free parking disc which had 30 minute intervals, thus allowing instead of 90 minutes of free parking on blue colored lanes, at least 30 to 90 minutes more (Example: Car arrives at 10am and driver places the arrow on the old disc between 10:01 to 10:30. The car should've been out of the lane by 11:30am, if this was strictly followed, but with the old disc, one can stay and leave til 1:30 to 2 pm* (*-parking is also free from 12 to 2pm).). The new disc will only tell the Police that you arrived at 10am and should be out of there 90 minutes later. Implementation starts in Lausanne on January 1 and might be implemented to the other cantons including Montreux, Nyon and Vevey after a couple of weeks.
