We just stopped the car on a curb and sat quietly - at peace with ourselves and with nature

Los Alamos Blancos in Pantano, on Km 34 above the Granada mountain ranges is a 2.5-hour drive along the autovias (no tolls) from Seville. The sight of this palacio with a breath-taking lake a hundred meters away and nerve-soothing area of flora was a great refuge from all the noise of the city. The haunting aroma of food from Los Olivos in Chimineas, and the tapas from the quaint village of Alhama are all but just 10 minutes away from this nesting place. Our home for 3 days, while we drove from Granada to Alhambra (Day 2), to Cordoba (Day 3) and to Costa del Sol (Day 4), was indeed perfect to nurture oneself while preparing for easter.
