(Can't) Forget Paris (Page 3 of 8) Review Day 1, 2
6:55 PM Bright lights. Big City. Rush hour. Don't get lost in this city. There is frenzy nary the honky-tonk blares of cars' horns. There is this seeming mad rush but not one being pushed aside. Laughter. Tourists posing for a "kodak" and counting 1-2-3. There is a multitude of activity happening all at the same time. Not everyone is caught in this frenzy. Deliberately they become still, unmoved, with invisible headphones. They take time to read, to wait for the setting of the sun or just to stay idle for a few more minutes. Just a few more. Amidst the rush. ("Can't Forget Paris" is a gallery of black and white images from a film that was re-discovered this weekend. This was my very first venture into B&W photography.) |
