Sonya's Bed and Breakfast

We visited the garden to see where our salad came from. Sonya was there to welcome us, asked us to stay and look around. Directed us to their newly built (last April) Bed-and-Breakfast which was a cottage in a throng of flowers that can throw you back with its price (of P2,500 per person per day) but all worth it as you rest in the midst of the chirps of the birds and the softness of pillows on a 4-poster bed. This is life. If the pink sisters' were here singing, I would have taken my shoes and fallen back again, to sleep.

Not to be taken by the beauty of the place and then losing the perfection of the day to a snarling traffic that we always knew, we had to leave before 3 pm . The time was just perfect, a stop over for some pineapples, more espasol, maybe. Josh Groban still on the CD playing by, with more behind the wheel stories about the perfect memories of a day trip to Tagaytay.

How to Get to Sonya's Garden and Bed and Breakfast:
From South Superhighway, Exit Santa Rosa, take road towards Tagaytay. Upon reaching the main Aguinaldo Highway, turn right towards Nasugbu, Batangas. Go past the rotonda (Ninoy Aquino statue). After Splendido Golf Course and Sunrise Hill make a right turn on Buck Estate and drive 2 kms left gate.
