Photo Friday : Black and White Discover and add beauty by hovering over pic
Around Cebu: Part 7 Discovering Beauty Submitted to Photo Friday: Black and White Cebu City, Philippines, May, 2004 These flowers were for Lola Meding's 91st birthday. What a wonderful life she's had. They are also for sister, May, who will be walking down the isle on May 29. Some say it's a sin to shoot flowers in black and white. But oftentimes the beauty of life is not readily apparent to most of us. Some even fail to find ways to discover and find meaning in their lives. Lola Meding still healthy at 90, has lived a full life. She has discovered beauty in the many experiences she's had from raising 2 children during the war, being a supportive wife to our Lolo Mayong and a doting lola to us cousins. She may have Alzheimer's disease right now, but we, her descendants, keep the memories she may have lost deep in our hearts. While my sis, May, still has a lot of discovering to do. I wish her and her husband a wonderful life ahead. Discover the beauty of the floral arrangement by hovering over the image |
