Theme Thursday : Ring Theme Thursday: Ring (Ring...) Calling all CD collectors (or the the few of us who are hardcore anti-download). I just came back from a CD Sale at Raffles Center in Emerald Ave for P 100 per CD (approx. $1.75) on titles from Paparoach, Puddle of Mudd, Tatu, etc. I got 5CDs in 5 minutes (Michael McDonald's Motown, Nelly Furtado, Bjork, Secret Garden and INXS). It's at the 28th Floor until the 15th only. New stocks come in every hour. So see you there later. Theme Thursday: Ring(s As Seen On TV) When I was a kid, its either static, the one where black and white snowflakes come out to form elephants or side by side rainbow colored yummy vertical bars. The ones you see when the TV broadcast is off the air. With the advent of video, the bars were replaced by rings. I don't know if you can still see elephants come out from them though. and here are the Videos we've seen in the last 10 days: o Dreamcatcher = Stephen King didn't frighten me here o Heavy = wanted to see it because of Liv Tyler, zzzz after 10 minutes o Crying Ladies = best video seen in the last months, and its a Filipino movie ha o U2 Live - Come Home to Slane Castle = superb recording on DVD o Big Fish = not for everyone, but I like its message o Drowning Mona = whodunit, dont watch it Tonight, we're seeing Troy. My wife is excited, not only because we're seeing it at a theatre where we had our very first date, or because of the story of the great Trojan wars but maybe due to the potential of seeing the tandem of Brad Pitt and Orlando Bloom in one flick, (guys with expressive eyes are her achiless heel). I'll be there to see her through... |
