February 29 happens only once every four years. I decided to join this and do something different today - to stay up for 24 hours and to capture every hour in photos. Wish me luck.

Update: Ha ha, ha failed miserably. Credit me as I was able to stay til 2:30 AM. Just the same, leap day was memorable in more ways than one. Til 2008! (hover on pic to read captions)

Welcoming the Extra Day, I bought a new Internet card which would last me, I guess until April, and I slept a few hours before leap day. Now I'm ready.

12 AM - Ready

Trying to Be Awake, I have 31 Songs by Nick Hornby, Paulo Coehlo's 11 Minutes and John Grishams' The Last Juror. Normally I would read from 4-5 books at one time, this time I can't find the other 2.

1 AM - To Read

Birthday Gifts?, Yes in 12 days I'll be 35 and I deserve something better for my hobby. But where do I get the moolah? Hmmm, I'll just keep drooling. At least, that's for free.

2 AM - Drooling

Allowed computer to run and detect virus while I chill out with the books I prepared. This was the formula for leapyear objective destruction. The next letters now read : ZZZZzzzz.

2:30 AM - Detecting

Well rested. Ready to face the world - in my slippers.

9 AM - Waking Up

Headlines? Headaches. Didnt finish the whole stash.

10 AM - Headache

Lausanne - now more than 10 kilos and still growing..

11 AM - Dog Walk

Gardening without a Green thumb. Actually, just picking up dried leaves and doing some stuff with the trimming...

12 NN - Greenthumb?

Caught tail end of HBO midday movie while dressing up. I think it was Murder by Numbers, not so good. If I may say.

1 PM - Flick

Do we have an extra supply of traffic lights in Manila? From SSH to Quirino Ave, there are lights per lane, while in nearby Paranaque, there was one per kilometer, what gives Mayor Atienza? Too much for a poor country, heh.

2 PM - To Manila

Went to an old Manila house. These houses are exquisite with its design and sturdiness. This is a house along Leon Guinto St. with its bannisters and staircase made of authentic wood. Since 1950s. Very retro.

3 PM - Reunion

The extra day ends, after an 8:30 pm mass and salad dinner, we thanked God for an additional day to savor and serve Him.

10 PM - Leap End
